This is your opportunity to join us and experience HRM’s ‘Little Italy’ – two days filled with Italian food, culture, language and more food! The Italian Canadian Cultural Association opens its doors and offers a space for everyone in our community who wants to experience “La Bella Vita!” (The Good Life).

Step into Italian Culture
Explore, Speak, Play – The Italian Way
Dive deeper into Italian culture with a visit to our Italian Library, where you can talk to members about life and travel in Italy. Our language school teachers will be offering free Italian lessons, so you can “Parli Italiano!” (Speak Italian!).
Plus, there’s some fun for the kids with the “Andiamo a Pescare” (children’s fishing game) with prizes to be won! Learn to play a game of Bocce!
Take a break in the ICCA – Espresso46 Cafe to sit down and enjoy an espresso.

Run entirely by volunteers, the Italian Canadian Cultural Association transforms into HRM’s ‘Little Italy,’ creating a space for Italian Canadians to congregate with one another and the people in our community who want to experience “La Bella Vita!” (The Good Life)
Many volunteers spearhead this event every year, supported by sponsors and the people of HRM. It’s an event created by past generations and continues to be appreciated by young and old today.
More than 2000 people come through the Festa Italiana doors every September; this is your opportunity to highlight your company and brand to the people of Halifax

What does it cost?
PRICES:
- Entry fee: at the gate, $2 cash/person – ICCA Current Members and Kids under 12 are free.
- Menu prices range from $5 to $20 for various items on the menu. We offer debit/credit/cash for food tickets.
- Café, 50-50 draw, Raffle Draw and the Kids Fishing game, all are cash only.
- Wine Tasting Sessions are by pre-purchase only. $65 pp – stay tuned for when tickets go on sale.

The Festa Italiana Halifax is the annual fundraiser for the Italian Canadian Cultural Association of Nova Scotia (ICCA NS).
Our mission is to enrich, share and reflect Italian Canadian culture through social, cultural, recreational and educational services.
Our objective is to fully realize individual and collective potential through meaningful services which honour Italian heritage and enhance the quality of life in Nova Scotia. The ICCA NS began operating on May 4th, 1976, as an official non-profit and has evolved over the years into what we are today. The Directors and membership of the ICCA place incredible importance on family and community. All of our events and activities are focused on building family and community ties.
The membership of the association is composed of people of Italian and non-Italian heritage who share an interest in Italian history and culture. The association provides Italian language and culture courses, organizes Italian culturally themed social events, and provides a forum where its members and the community-at-large can share experiences and mix socially.
